New Practice Nurse

We would like to welcome Sharon Millen to Cowdenbeath Medical Practice. Sharon will be joining our existing Practice Nursing team from Monday 18th March.

Goodbye Dr Eadie

Dr Eadie will be leaving the Practice for pastures new at the end of February. Her last last working day will be Thursday 29th February. Dr Eadie has been a GP Partner at Cowdenbeath since 2016 and prior to this she worked with us as a trainee. We would like to wish Dr Eadie the best of luck in future. Dr Eadie would like us to pass on the following statement:- “It is with great sadness that I am leaving Cowdenbeath. I would like to thank all my patients and colleagues alike for all their support and kindness over the years."

Practice Update - 26/02/24

The Practice is currently navigating through a period of significant clinical staff absence. From Monday 26th February we are moving our GP appointment system to book on the day. This will be the case until we are in the position to offer the booking of appointments in advance. If you require an appointment with a GP then please telephone 01383 518500 at 8am on the day that you are able to attend. We understand that this is frustrating however; we ask that you bear with us during this time. Our Reception team are doing their best to answer your calls, support and signpost you to the most appropriate service for your needs. Thank you for your continued support.

Change to Appointments

From Monday 29th August 2022 the Practice is changing the way in which we allocate on the day appointment requests. This is to ensure that our patients receive the ‘Right Care at the Right Time’ and to improve access.
